Bon Appetit!

My name is Sean and I am a surety agent which is a bondsman! Besides bailing people out from jail, I love to cook for my family! I come from a family who has always had a passion for cooking! My mom’s side of the family is Italian and I can remember all the times they made homemade pasta, gravy, Bolognese, and more. Many afternoons were spent sitting around the table eating great meals with the family. Manga, manga, manga! Now on my dad’s side of the family, they are Jewish and they have always loved to cook too! Homemade brisket made by Gram was the best and who could resist her potato pancakes and Matza ball soup. My dad owned a pizzeria where not only did he make great food but also great friends. I learned a lot hanging around and working in the kitchen. As you can see, I grew up with a rich diversity of food and a love for food! I learned that great cooking equals lots of great memories with family and friends. I hope you enjoy my blog as I share a wide range of recipes with you! I hope to try recipes and rate them on their ease and taste! I hope to show you easy every day favorites to unique new things to try! One thing is for sure if you love cooking like I do and enjoy a good meal, you will have fun trying these recipes!

An an oldie but a goldie, mozzarella caprese! I used farm fresh, locally grown tomatoes. That’s what makes it so good, those ripe, juicy tomatoes! I topped it with thick slices of Buffalo mozzarella with torn basil leaves, drizzled with an aged balsamic glaze, extra virgin olive oil, a dash of pink Himalayan sea salt, and a dash of garlic. This appetizer will have everyone ready for course two!
